I was watching Heros, a TV series about people with superpowers. George Takei, who used to star in the original Star Trek as Sulu, has also appeared in one episode (following by many more later – actually he’s gotten an important role in the series).

When Mr. Takei in Heros sat in his limo, the registration plate read NCC 1701, which is also the registration number of the starship USS Enterprise from Star Trek. I find this gesture great and among other things fell that Heros is a better TV show because of that.
